چکیده

Purpose. Determining the rational operating parameters for granite crushing under impact in field of centrifugal forces to obtain cubiform crushed stone. In order achieve purpose set, task is determine obtaining main grain-size classes: -50.0 + 20.0; -40.0 -20.0 10.0; -10.0 5.0 and mm. Methods. The process stone studied conditions Kolomoievskyi Granite Quarry, Dnipropetrovsk region. with an initial 100.0-0.0 mm strength grade M1400 subjected crushing. accelerating rotor rotation frequency design value n = 200-1200 min-1. Fine performed a centrifugal-impact crusher by free forces. Findings. optimal speed modes operation, which provide production high-quality maximum content 90-95% fractions, have been substantiated. Originality. yield dependences obtained depending on mode operation. Practical implications. classes from determined: particular, it has determined that 20.0 grain-size, reasonable 400-500 min-1 (the material departure 45-50 m/sec); 200 (25 10.0 – 600-650 (70-80 m/sec), respectively. fractions class 95%, achieved at 650-700 (departure 75-80 m/sec). 94-95%, within 700-800 70-80 data make possible practically choose centri-fugal-impact operation

A method to obtain the best uniform polynomial approximation for the family of rational function

In this article, by using Chebyshev’s polynomials and Chebyshev’s expansion, we obtain the best uniform polynomial approximation out of P2n to a class of rational functions of the form (ax2+c)-1 on any non symmetric interval [d,e]. Using the obtained approximation, we provide the best uniform polynomial approximation to a class of rational functions of the form (ax2+bx+c)-1 for both cases b2-4a...

Weathering of Stone Mountain Granite

The weathering of Stone Mountain Granite (adamellitc) forms kaolinite, endcllite, allophane and gibbsite of which kaolinite is the most stable. Bulk density ranges from 2.65 in fresh rock to a minimum of 1.48 in saprolite. It is a good index of weathering. Abrasion pH ranges from 5.0 in saprolite to 9.3 in fresh rock, and is direct]y related to bulk density and the amount of clay mineral. Among...

Determining the Optimum Operating Parameters of a Unipolar Pwm Inverter

This study presents a determination of the optimum operating parameters of a unipolar PWM inverter through theoretical and experimental analysis. The inverter is investigated in its simplest form without input DC-DC conversion or output filtering. The intent of this study is to understand the core of the inverter thoroughly before adding peripheral elements such as output filtering. Variations ...

Geocell-Reinforced Crushed Stone Base for Low-Volume Roads

Crushed stone bases are widely used for low-volume roads. However, shear strength of the crushed stone materials can be vastly improved by confining the material in geocellular confinement systems or geocells. Geocells are 3-dimensional honeycomb-like structures. The objective of this study was to test a geocell design with crushed stone (AB-3) in-fill and a thin hot-mix asphalt (HMA) surface l...
